Is artificial turf safe?

Does your turf contain dangerous chemicals?

No. A common misconception is that all artificial turf contains harmful or hazardous chemicals. The turf products we use are manufactured with modern materials that are tested for safety and compliance.

Our turf does not contain known hazardous substances at levels that pose a risk under normal use conditions.

Does your turf contain PFAS ("forever chemicals")?

No. The turf products we use are PFAS-free.

PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are sometimes referred to as "forever chemicals" due to their persistence in the environment. There has been growing concern about PFAS in various consumer products.

We specifically source turf products that do not contain intentionally added PFAS and are manufactured without fluorinated chemicals.

Why do people think turf contains toxic chemicals?

This concern largely comes from:

• Recycled rubber infill used in some athletic fields
• Misinformation or generalized reports that do not apply to modern residential turf systems

Does artificial turf get hot?

Mitigation options include:

Is artificial turf environmentally responsible?
